Education Design Lab – YouTube
The Education Design Lab works with higher education institutions to redesign learning experiences for historically underrepresented students. One of their programs, the Single Moms Success Design Challenge, works with community colleges to improve learning and career outcomes for single mom learners. I covered the first National Convening for that program, where the Lab, the program’s four partner schools, and a handful of experts met in Indianapolis in June 2019. Along with coverage of the event for internal use, I produced this video to illustrate the design challenge and inspire viewers. Solo shooting three full days of footage proved to be only half the challenge, as I also edited it down to this three-minute piece.
